Who is responsible for your data

Termotray, a manufacturer of custom thermoformed trays based in Guararema, São Paulo, Brazil, is the controller of the personal data processed on this site. This means Termotray decides how and why this data is used.

What data we collect

We collect only the data needed to respond to your request:

• Quote form: name, company, job title, email, WhatsApp number, industry, information about the part and the application (dimensions, weight, volumes, timelines, and requirements), uploaded files (drawings, 3D models, and photos), and how you heard about Termotray.
• Contact form: name, company, email, and the message you send.
• WhatsApp and email conversations: the data you share when talking to our team, such as your name, phone number, and the content of your messages.
• Browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, date and time of access, and the source of your visit, collected through cookies and analytics tools, as explained in the Cookies section.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data, such as racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, political opinions, or health data. Please do not include it in your messages or uploaded files. This site is intended for business use and is not directed to anyone under 18.

How we use the data

We use personal data to:

• Review your request, assess the application, and prepare the initial tray proposal and the formal quote.
• Contact you to answer questions, request missing information, and move the project forward.
• Notify you when a new Technical Library article is published, if you have asked us to.
• Understand how the site is used, to improve content and navigation.
• Comply with legal and regulatory obligations and exercise our rights in judicial or administrative proceedings.

Drawings, 3D files, and technical information about your part are used only to assess the application and develop your tray. We do not sell or rent personal data.

Legal bases

We process data under the legal bases set out in Article 7 of the LGPD, mainly:

• Preliminary procedures related to a contract, at your request, such as reviewing your quote request and responding to your messages.
• Termotray's legitimate interest, such as improving the site and managing business relationships, always with respect for your rights.
• Consent, when requested, such as for new-article notices and analytics cookies.
• Compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation.

Who we share data with

Data may be shared only with:

• Service providers that help us run the site and serve you, such as hosting, email delivery, messaging (WhatsApp), and web analytics (Google Analytics). They may use the data only to provide those services.
• Public authorities, when required by law or court order.

Some of these providers may store data outside Brazil. In those cases, the transfer follows LGPD rules.

When you click a WhatsApp button, you are taken to the app, which has its own privacy policy.

How long we keep the data

We keep data for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, such as following up on your quote and project, or for the period required by law. After that, the data is deleted or anonymized.

The quote form draft is saved only in your browser, for the current session, so you do not lose what you have already filled in. Attached files are not saved in that draft.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. We may use two types:

• Necessary: allow the site to work properly.
• Analytics: help us understand how many people visit the site and which pages are viewed most, through Google Analytics. This information is used in aggregate form.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Without them, some site features may not work as expected.

How we protect the data

We use technical and administrative measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access and against loss, alteration, or improper disclosure. Access to the data is restricted to the people who need it to serve you.

No system is completely immune to failure. If a security incident occurs that may pose significant risk or harm to data subjects, we will notify the affected individuals and Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD), as required by law.

Your rights

As a data subject, you have the right to:

• Confirm whether we process your data, and access it.
• Correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data.
• Request anonymization, blocking, or deletion of data that is unnecessary, excessive, or processed in violation of the law.
• Request portability of your data to another service provider.
• Know who we share your data with.
• Withdraw consent, when processing is based on it.
• Object to processing that does not comply with the law.

To exercise these rights, email contato@termotray.com.br. We may ask for information to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. You may also file a complaint with the ANPD.
